چکیده

Dynamic modelling is a frequently used approach for solving problems in interorganizational systems. In order to construct valid models of such systems, representatives of the individual organizations must be involved in the modelling process. Current approaches of dynamic modelling use a form of 'consultative design' for handling the participation of organizational representatives. Based on findings in literature on participatory design and on previous research on the design of interorganizational information systems, we claim that a more 'participative' dynamic modelling approach for modelling interorganizational systems would be appropriate. This paper presents a model-framework for 'multimodels', and a participative approach for building such models.

Temporal Consistency of View Based Interorganizational Workflows

Interorganizational workflows are a major step in automating B2B electronic commerce and to support collaborations of organizations on the technical level. Process views are an important conceptual modelling approach for interorganizational workflows as they allow interaction and communication while internal and private parts of the process can be hidden. However, it essential to guarantee that...

Interorganizational Information Systems and Interorganizational Relationships

As the external environment and alliance partnerships become more complex, managers should consider appropriate partners to enhance the efficiency and performance of their chain, as well as to gain potential competitive advantages (Chang, et al., 2007). Additionally, due to increasing global competition many organizations are aware of the benefits of using electronic solutions to support their ...

Adaptive Continuous Hierarchical Model-based Decision Making - For Process Modelling with Realistic Requirements

Industrial model-based control often relies on parametric models. However, for certain operational conditions either the precise underlying physical model is not available or the lack of relevant or reliable data prevents its use. A popular approach is to employ the black box or grey box models, releasing the theoretical rigor. This leads to several candidate models being at disposal, from whic...

A Robust Feedforward Active Noise Control System with a Variable Step-Size FxLMS Algorithm: Designing a New Online Secondary Path Modelling Method

Several approaches have been introduced in literature for active noise control (ANC)systems. Since Filtered-x-Least Mean Square (FxLMS) algorithm appears to be the best choice as acontroller filter. Researchers tend to improve performance of ANC systems by enhancing andmodifying this algorithm. This paper proposes a new version of FxLMS algorithm. In many ANCapplications an online secondary pat...

A Multi-Case Study Approach of Interorganizational Information Systems Advantages in the Tunisian Automotive Components Supply Chain

A great deal of controversy exists about the impact of Information technology on the global performance within the supply chain. Many theoretical explanations could be advanced to cover this issue. The present paper discusses this problematic and proposes that the climate of the interorganizational relationships could moderate the advantages of Interorganizational Information systems within the...
